dicomed recorder

My introduction into the world of Computers, circa 1982.
Shown is the Dicomed D148C computer, about the size of five Kenmore® Refrigerators.
During my tunure at Lockheed we had one of the only two D148SR models which had substantially more processing power.
The D148SR was also substantially larger, about the size of eight Kenmore® Refrigerators (including the Kennedy 9000 Mag Tape Unit).

The only other unit was in use by the Lawrence Livermore Laboratories.

I have been in Information Technologies for 30 years,
with tenures at Lockheed, IBM / Lotus, CompuCom,
National Equipment, Monster WorldWide, Bitstream / Pageflex.
