BOSTON, MA, 08-SEP-11.
After being contacted last June by movie producer Ruaridh Arrow of the UK, Lyman GL DeLiguori, Sr., MCP, has announced his donation of portions of his video footage of Commercial aircraft landing at Logan International Airport in Boston, Ma., USA., for the film documentary 'HOW TO START A REVOLUTION', the remarkable untold story of Nobel Peace Prize nominee Gene Sharp, the world's leading expert on non-violent revolution.

The film will be shown throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Worldwide premier dates of 'HOW TO START A REVOLUTION' are provided below.

The footage provided by Mr. DeLiguori is dedicated by him to his two Grandchildren, Jordyn and Joseph.

Producer Ruaridh Arrow noticed his unique footage on YouTube.

Mr. DeLiguori commented, "What caught my attention was how graceful these one hundred sixty-plus ton aircraft are when landing. Video taping was a bit arduous given the sub-zero degree conditions of that day, along with the high winds which resulted in the windchill dropping the temperature even further to minus double-digits," recalls Mr. DeLiguori, adding that "The project, including nearly sixty hours of post-filming production, was well worth the effort when the footage was overwhelmingly received by the aviation community and it's enthusiasts".

Recording equipment included the Sony HVR-A1U video camera with it's world renown Carl Zeiss T* ('T-Star') Optics, which were indispensable given the filming distance of nearly one-half mile downrange from the landing position of the aircraft. Mr. DeLiguori resides in Methuen, Massachusetts, USA. Mr. DeLiguori has been in Information Technologies for thirty years and is a nationally published professional photographer of nearly forty-one years as well. He attended both The Art Institute of Boston and the Franklin Institute of Technology. Mr. DeLiguori is also an avid Ham Radio Operator and his FCC Call Sign is KB1TJY. As excerpted from one of many Press Releases:

"We're delighted to be able announce the UK and US premieres of HOW TO START A REVOLUTION.  The film will open at the BOSTON FILM FESTIVAL in the middle of September and the European premiere will be at RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL in London in early October. Both festivals announced their schedules today.

The film will have its European Premiere a few days later in London at RAINDANCE which runs from September 28 to October 9.  RAINDANCE is Europe's leading independent film festival, described by The Guardian as "the indie-est festival this side of the Atlantic" and How To Start A Revolution has been selected to play in competition.  There are two screenings one on Sunday October 2 at 7pm and a second on Monday October 3 at 2pm, both at the Apollo Cinema in Piccadilly Circus.

After these two premieres the film heads off on a tour of festivals including OTTAWA, the UNITED NATIONS FILM FESTIVAL and to SAN FRANCISCO (dates to be announced) before finishing up at Florida's FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL at the amazing Cinema Paradiso with a screening at 5.30pm on Wednesday November 9, 2011. And the television version of the film will be presented to international television buyers at Cannes' MIPCom conference in early October by our awesome distribution colleagues at TVF International.

HOW TO START A REVOLUTION is the remarkable untold story of Nobel Peace Prize nominee Gene Sharp, the world's leading expert on non-violent revolution. This new film (from first time director Ruaridh Arrow) reveals how Gene's work has given a new generation of revolutionary leaders the weapons needed to overthrow dictators. It shows how his 198 steps to non-violent regime change have inspired uprisings from Serbia to Ukraine and from Egypt to Syria and how his work has spread across the globe in an unstoppable wave of profound democratic change. How To Start A Revolution is the story of the power of people to change their world, the modern revolution and the man behind it all.
